mage Platform Privacy Notice
This page describes what we collect when you use mage and how we keep that data protected. We take privacy seriously because your account information, payment details, and gaming history are sensitive. We store them securely, limit who can access them, and share them only with partners we trust to process your deposits and withdrawals.
Our mage platform collects personal data in three categories: account details (name, email, phone, date of birth), identity verification (government ID), and payment information (e-wallet or bank account linked to DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, or e-wallet). We also log your activity—every deposit, stake, and withdrawal—to provide you with a transparent game history and to comply with financial regulations.
This notice explains our data practices. If you have questions about how we handle your information, contact our support team.
What we collect and why
When you open a mage account, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and date of birth. We use this information to authenticate you when you log in, to send you account notifications, and to verify your identity before you withdraw funds.
Before your first withdrawal, we ask you to provide identity verification: a photo of your government-issued ID (KTP, SIM, or passport) and confirmation of your ID number and full name. This step is mandatory and protects both you and our payment partners. We store this identity data separately from your login credentials, so a breach of one does not expose both simultaneously.
When you deposit or withdraw, we collect information about your payment method. If you use DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or online payment, we record the transaction ID and timestamp. If you use a bank virtual account (e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, or online payment), we record your bank account details and transfer reference number. We do not store your full bank account number or e-wallet password—only a token that links to your payment provider's system.
We also log every stake you place and every result on mage. This activity log is part of your account history and helps us settle disputes, detect fraud, and comply with gaming regulations. You can view your complete activity history in your mage account settings at any time.
How we use your mage data
We use your personal data for four main purposes: account management (authentication, password reset, account preferences), payment processing (deposit and withdrawal routing), regulatory compliance (identity verification, financial record-keeping), and fraud prevention (detecting unauthorised access or suspicious activity).
We do not sell your data to advertisers or marketing partners. We do not use your gaming history to profile you for targeted marketing. We share your identity and payment information only with our banking and e-wallet processors as necessary to execute your transactions. We also retain the right to share your information with law enforcement or regulatory authorities if legally compelled.

Where and how we store your data
Our mage servers may be located outside your home jurisdiction. If you are based in Indonesia (Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang, or Yogyakarta), your data may be processed and stored on servers outside Indonesia. By using mage, you consent to this cross-border data transfer.
We encrypt all data in transit between your phone and our servers using TLS (transport layer security). We encrypt sensitive data at rest using AES-256 encryption. Access to your data is restricted to mage employees and contractors who have a legitimate need to view it—for example, our support team accessing your account to resolve a dispute, or our compliance team reviewing identity verification documents.
We retain your account data, identity documents, and transaction history for at least five years to comply with financial and gaming regulations. After five years, we review whether continued retention is necessary and securely delete data that is no longer required. If you close your mage account, we retain your data for the legally required retention period, then delete it.
Third-party processors and your data
We share your data with third parties only when necessary to provide our mage service. Our payment processors (e-wallet operators and banks) receive your identity and payment information to execute your deposits and withdrawals. These processors have their own privacy policies and data-protection obligations.
We may also work with vendors to provide infrastructure (cloud hosting, email delivery, customer support tools), analytics (to understand how users interact with mage), and security services (fraud detection, account monitoring). All vendors sign data-protection agreements requiring them to use your data only for the specific purpose we've contracted them for and to maintain confidentiality.
We do not disclose your data to law enforcement or government agencies unless we receive a valid legal order or subpoena. In such cases, we will notify you of the request unless legally prohibited from doing so.
Your rights regarding your mage data
You have the right to request access to all personal data we hold about you. Contact our support team with your mage account ID, and we will provide you with a copy of your data in a readable format. You also have the right to request correction of inaccurate data—for example, if your name or email address is spelled incorrectly in our system.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to our legal retention obligations. If you request deletion, we will deactivate your mage account and securely delete your personal information after the legally required retention period expires. You also have the right to object to specific data processing, such as our use of your activity log for analytics.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our support team with a clear description of your request and your mage account details. We will respond within thirty days or provide you with a reason for any delay.
Cookies and tracking on mage
Our mage platform uses cookies to maintain your login session, remember your language preference, and track how you interact with the platform. Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Preference cookies persist until you manually clear them. We do not use tracking cookies to follow you across other websites.
We use analytics tools to understand which features of mage are used most often, where users encounter errors, and how they navigate the platform. This analytics data is aggregated and anonymised, so it does not identify individual users. We use these insights to improve mage's performance and usability. You can opt out of analytics tracking in your account settings without affecting your ability to use mage.
Our mage commitment to data security
We employ industry-standard security practices to protect your mage account. All data is encrypted, access is restricted to authorised personnel, and we regularly audit our systems for vulnerabilities. We do not store your password in plain text; we hash it using a strong algorithm so even our staff cannot see it.
We encourage you to protect your mage account by using a strong, unique password and by enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) if available. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and contact our support team.
Jurisdiction and data retention
Our mage platform operates in jurisdictions where local law permits online gaming and sportsbook services. Our privacy practices are governed by the laws of our registered jurisdiction and by the laws of the jurisdictions in which we process data. If you are based in a jurisdiction with its own data-protection regulations (such as GDPR in the EU or local privacy laws in Indonesia), those laws may also apply to your data.
We retain your mage account data for the duration of your account plus a minimum of five years after closure. We may retain your gaming history (stakes, results, payouts) for longer if required by financial or gaming regulations. We delete analytics data after two years, though aggregated insights may be retained indefinitely.
Changes to our mage privacy policy
We may update this privacy notice from time to time as our practices evolve or as regulations change. We will post changes to this page and, if material, send you an email notification. Continued use of mage after a change means you accept the updated privacy policy.
If you have questions about how we handle your data, or if you wish to exercise your rights regarding your mage information, contact our support team. Provide your account ID and a clear description of your request, and we will respond within thirty days.
